We just don't feel safe sitting in a massage chair that's been shared by someone else. Massage chair showrooms have other limitations as well.
First, you only get a few minutes in the chair, around 5 to 10 minutes. However, today's massage chairs are so advanced they offer a lot of different programs and settings where you can customize the massage. A few minutes really doesn't give you a good feel for the chair to know if it's right for you. It's much better if you can enjoy it for at least several days at your leisure.
